Adrienne Rose's Obituary
Adrienne Rose, age 63, of Johnson, Arkansas, passed away on July 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving husband, daughter, and brother, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born on August 16, 1959, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Russell Graef and Shirley Ludena. Adrienne graduated from Cox High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She graduated from San Jose City College and San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Child Education. Adrienne married Donald Rose on August 16, 1982, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Adrienne had a caring heart. At home, her warmth and compassion always fostered a calming space. She thoroughly enjoyed thrift shopping and the thrill of discovering secondhand books on the human condition. She was an avid reader who used her knack for storytelling to build and strengthen relationships. She volunteered at Continental Gardens Nursing Home in Butte, Montana. She lovingly prepared packages of clothing and food for those in need. Adrienne and Donald attended Johnson Church of Christ in Johnson, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ludena; her father, Russell Graef; and her stepfather, Roy Ludena.
Adrienne is survived by her husband, Donald Rose; daughter, Elizabeth Ashleigh Rose Bravo and grandson, Matthias John Bravo of Austin, Texas; sister, Leslie Kathryn Ludena of Ithaca, New York; and brother, Roy David Ludena of San Diego, California.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2023, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The services will be livestreamed at www.bernafuneralhomes.com.
