Albert Wesley Ferguson II's Obituary
Albert Wesley Ferguson II “Wes”, age 47, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was born August 28, 1974 in Amory, Mississippi, the son of Albert Ralph Ferguson and Ella Pritchett Ferguson.
Wes served over 20 years in the Alabama Army National Guard, United States Army, and the Arkansas Army National Guard before retiring from the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade in 2013. He had been employed with Maynard, Inc. for the past several years in the quality assurance department.
He is survived by his mother, Ella Ferguson of Danville, AL; his brother, Paul Ferguson of Danville, AL; nephews Dean and Sebastian Ferguson of Madison, WI; Uncle, Jackie (Sandra) Ferguson of Leighton, AL; cousins Sean Pritchett of Arab, AL, Sheri (Ken) Welch of Huntsville, AL, and Gary (Dawn) Shelton of Fayetteville, TN. He is proceeded in death by his father, Albert Ralph Ferguson; paternal grandparents Albert and Ozell Ferguson; maternal grandparents E.M. and Etrulia Pritchett.
The family of Wes wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Highlands Oncology Group, Washington Regional Medical Center, Maynard, Inc., and his friends for their loving care.
Cremation was by Moore’s Chapel, services will be held in Alabama at a later date. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday November 11, 2021 for family and friends at the American Legion Post 27 located at 1195 Curtis Ave in Fayetteville from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
