Alberta L. Nettrour's Obituary
Reverend Alberta L. Nettrour, 89 of Centerton, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in Bentonville, AR. She was born May 16, 1915 in Columbian, OH to Anna (Lewis) Nettrour.
She was a retired Pentecostal Minister also known as the "Preacher Lady" in her 29 years of jail ministry. Her love for life is best described as her genuine love for people in need. Some of her accomplishments include children's ministry, such as The Traveling Sunday School in Bentonville, founding and pastoring several churches, singing, and ministering in nursing homes, mentoring ministers for the Gospel, and giving many guitar and piano lessons. Her friendly smile and words of welcome, "You Made It" will be greatly missed by her friends and church family!
She is survived by Louise Thomason, her daughter in faith and partner in the ministry for the past 32 years.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Reverend Charles Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Rogers City Cemetery.
