Birth date: Apr 12, 1945 Death date: Jun 22, 2020
Alice Mae Howard, age 75, passed away with her family at her side on Monday, June 22, 2020, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born on April 12, 1945, in Burlington, Iowa, to Frank Albert and Anita Eliz Read Obituary
I grew up next door to Alice, in Burlington we loved making homemade french fries, playing badminton and walking to the movies and back home. The day we saw The Birds we both watching the sky. I remember her sitting and talking with my mother before Jim and her were married. I remember there apartment on Main Street where they lived when John was born. I still have a dress she made and gave to me because she didn’t want to throw it away. She will always live in my heart.
So sorry to hear of Alices passing. She was such a sweet lady. I enjoyed working with her at Jancy
Kathy and Will Hamby
Mostly I picture Aunt Alice at the house in Davenport, with Goliath running around chasing Misty, and everyone gathered together. I remember how Scott would always measure himself up against her. I remember the summer I stayed up there - I think it was for a month - and how she made me feel at home. She will be greatly missed. Hugs to all my family. Know that your wife/mom/grandma is loved and prayed for.
The best memory I have of Alice is, whenever we were together I knew she cared and loved me.
If you can imagine back in the 70's when she, Jim and the kids lived in Quincy we tackled sewing a pair of men's corduroy baggies...laughed til we cried.
