Alice Ann Johnson's Obituary
Alice Ann Johnson, 87, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on July 8, 2026, at Circle of Life in Bentonville. She was born on April 1, 1939, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Denver Young and Gladys Shelton Young. Alice married Harold “Lloyd” Johnson on February 25, 1956. She worked for First National Bank, before becoming the bookkeeper for Chicken Pullman the company that Alice and Lloyd owned. Alice was a member of Sonora Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Johnson; her parents, and brother, Gary Young.
Alice is survived by her son, Steven Johnson and wife Cindy of Mountainburg, Arkansas; her daughter, Missy Johnson of Springdale, Arkansas; grandchildren, Hope Baker and husband Sam, Jozey O’Kelley, Katee Johnson, Ellie Johnson, and Jolee O’Kelley; siblings, Shirley Denny, Sandra Thomas, Larry Young, and Connie Clarke, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2026, at Sonora Baptist Church with the funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
