Alice Louise Taylor's Obituary
Alice Louise Taylor passed peacefully into the presence of her Savior, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and service. Born in Hamilton, Texas, on December 4, 1934, Alice lived a life marked by devotion—to her family, her church, and her Lord.
A proud graduate of Hamilton High School, Louise was a standout athlete and a 1952 Texas State Champion in basketball with the Hamilton Bulldogs. She loved golf and was a lifelong, rabid Razorback fan! Her competitive spirit was matched only by her compassionate heart.
Louise was a long-time member of University Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in both the Second Mile Ministry and Kids Ministry, touching countless lives with her warmth and wisdom. She was also deeply involved in Bible Study Fellowship, where her love for Scripture and discipleship flourished.
Above all, Louise was a faithful wife, and an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother—a matriarch whose love and guidance shaped generations. Her unwavering faith and gentle strength were a beacon to all who knew her.
Louise’s life was a testimony to the grace of God and the joy of serving others. She will be deeply missed but joyfully remembered.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Karen Taylor duPlantier, New Orleans, Louisiana; Kathy Taylor, Booneville, Arkansas; Rev. Michael Taylor (Kookie), Fayetteville, Arkansas, six grandchildren: Thad Taylor (Alice), Fayetteville, Arkansas; Daniel duPlantier (Mary Laura) New Orleans, Louisiana; Shelby Tuttle (Chris), Brooklyn, New York, Hannah Taylor, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Sarah duPlantier, New Orleans, Louisiana, Hayden Taylor (Jordan), Fayetteville, Arkansas, three great grandchildren:
