Allen J. Adair's Obituary
Allen J. Adair, of Siloam Springs, AR, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2009, at home.
He was born October 18, 1936 in Kansas City, MO of Samuel F. Adair and Stella (Siminaitis) Adair. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Bethel, KS and Washburn University in Topeka, KS. Allen worked as a Comptroller for Atlantic Richfield in Chicago and Dallas. He then worked as a Financial Manager for Daryl Hickman Chevrolet in Siloam Springs. He was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville where he served as Financial Secretary and member of the Bear Ministry Group.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol. He is survived by his son, Randy Adair and wife Judy of Joplin, MO; daughter Julie and husband KC Simonson of Coppell, TX; and son, Gary Adair of Hickory Creek, TX. Granddaughters Rebecca and Margaret of Joplin, Katie of Coppell, and Ashlyn and Alexis of Hickory Creek.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2009 at Nelson Funeral Home, 4520 North Crossover Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church,2925 North Old Missouri Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703. Burial will follow at 4:30 PM in the Bella Vista Cemetery.
