Al was a very good friend, a member of Faith Christian Fellowship of Rogers and its Worship Leader for many years. Al would give you His last dollar, or a ring from His hand, if you needed it. No funeral service would begin to do Him justice, Al would have had a Celebration service. He is constantly missed, but I shall see Him again.
Al had a tremendous sense of humor, a hearty laugh, and was the type of Police Officer I loved to have as a backup. Though we worked at different departments, we would often backup one another on calls during the midnight shift. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
I went to Castleberry HS in Ft Worth, TX and graduated with Allen. I am so lucky that I got to see him again at a class reunion in 2003. We talked about how he greete me in the morning calling out my name as I entered the building, he apologize for embarrassing me…. But I told him that he had made me fell Special as a quite girl.
My husband John Turner who passed last year, played Football with Allen all through school. Allen will be missed at Our 50th Reunion this year.
He was a bright spot in our memories of school and growing up.
My prayers go to his daughter & sisters.

See you later.. so many great memories! Loved God, and let the world see this through your song!
I worked with AL at the Springdale Police Dept. He was not the kind of person you forgot regardless of time. He was a big man; he had a big smile, a big laugh, a booming voice. He loved life. To his family and friends, I am so sorry that his time came so soon and unexpectedly. May God help you through the next difficult days.

Worked with Al at Springdale PD. Saw him a couple of years back in Springdale and had a good visit with him. So sorry to hear of this and saddened by our loss. Prayers for Al and his family.

I met Al in the 1980's and formed an immediate friendship that has lasted until his passing. He was one of the best and most loyal friends I ever had. I had the pleasure of working with Al in the police dept. and never met a better policeman. He was kind, compassionate, caring and would spend his last dollar to help someone else. I could go on and on but he is going to be missed. Good bye old friend. Rick Green
My husband and I met AL and his family in the 1980s. He could roast a mean pig! Nice guy. Saw him briefly through the years. Always had a smile on his face. Sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his loved ones. Linda Rhodes
