Alma Ellen Burge's Obituary
Alma Ellen Burge, 85 of Bethany, OK formerly of Fayetteville, AR passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 in (Bethany) OK. She was born February 28, 1926 in Delaney’s Creek, AR to Robert Harrison Van Brunt and Stella Mae (Faubus) Van Brunt.
She was a retired custom draperies seamstress and a member at the Farmington Church of Christ and New Hope Church of Christ in Edmond, OK.
She is survived by her husband Robert E. Burge of Fayetteville, one son; Weldon Hughes and wife Connie of Bethany, OK, one daughter; Patty Severino and husband Paul of Fayetteville, AR, , one brother; Everett Van Brunt of Chelan, WA, two sisters; Velma Thornsberry of Springdale, AR, Allena Taylor of Prairie Grove, AR, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2011 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Mr. Larry Krudwig officiating. Private burial will be held at El Reno Cemetery in El Reno, OK.
