Almond H. Frisky' Mitchell's Obituary
Almond H. “Frisky” Mitchell, 90 of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 in Springdale. He was born January 17, 1924 in Warren, Arkansas to Haygood Mitchell and Leona (Coon) Mitchell.
He was a engineering technician for the Pine Bluff Arsenal retiring after more than 25 years of employment. He attended First Baptist Church in Warren, AR and after moving to Northwest Arkansas started attending Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his Wife, Dorothy Ann Michael Mitchell, one daughter, Carol Waddle and husband Jonny of Fayetteville, AR, one son, Michael A. Mitchell and wife Kim of The Netherlands, and one granddaughter, Marda Hatcher of Fayetteville, AR.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday March 18th at Fayetteville National Cemetery with Reverend Steve Sheely officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or to Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
