Lonnie is one of my heroes of the faith. I doubt that my family would be where we are today spiritually without his willingness to do the good works that Christ prepared for him to do. I will never forget how cool I thought he was because he could drive that church bus. I walked to school in those days, so riding a bus was something amazing.
I intend to write a full tribute to Lonnie on the Mosaic website. He is a great example for all of us that the simplest thing we can do in the name of Jesus impact lives for generations to come.
