Amanda Ellen (Center) Carte's Obituary
Amanda Ellen (Center) Carte, age 84, of West Fork passed away Friday June 30, 2023 in West Fork. She was born September 9, 1938 in Shell Knob, Missouri the daughter of Joseph Edgar and Lottie Jane Redding Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Carte and her parents; daughter, Ellen Colleen Carte; siblings, William “Bill” Center, Marvin Center, Oral Center, J.T. Center, Richard Center, Fontella Jane Center Foster, Joyce Center Lucientes and one grandchild, Timothy Carte.
She retired from housekeeping department at the University of Arkansas.
She is survived by her three children, Tracy Carte of Plumerville, Arkansas’ Diana Carte Harrison of Fayetteville and Mark Carte of West Fork, Arkansas. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie Center Johnson, Connie Center Oberlatz, Carl Center all of California and Joseph Center or Oregon and one granddaughter, Michele Carte Hodges and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside service will be 1:00 pm Saturday July 8, 2023 at Garrett Creek Cemetery near Prairie Grove, Arkansas
