Amelia Elise Faulk's Obituary
Amelia Elise Faulk died Friday, March 17th, 2017, at home in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born April 13th, 1990-(Good Friday)-in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Tor and Teresa Faulk. She was preceded in death by her grandparents-Jerry & Rebecca Faulk. Amelia is survived by her parents, sisters-Olivia& Sophia, brother-Will, grandparents-Richard & Amy Prime & her beloved niece-Kennedy. Other survivors include her aunts & uncles-Beth Faulk; Kurt & Kim Faulk; Philip & Sandra Prime, Mark & Michelle Prime, Jason Prime, & Jeremy & Yolanda Prime, many cousins-whom she loved dearly; & her sisters since childhood Alice Havner Kent & Cassie Ledford Howard. Amelia was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta-brittle bone disease-making her very fragile. Despite her physical condition, she chose to live her life as independently as she could. She was fearless in her desire to learn about and experience the world with her family & friends. Amelia didn t worry about what she couldn t do-her focus was on what she could do. She enriched everybody she met with her loving spirit & grit. She enjoyed talking about Jesus, reading with her Grandpa, crafts with Aunt Beth, all food cooked by her Grandma, spending time with her friends, her pets, all culinary adventures & traveling-especially to New York City. Our entire family would like to express our love & profound gratitude to her many caregivers both at home & the Arkansas Children s Hospital-(ACH). Since birth, Amelia has been cared for & loved by the many professionals from ACH. Locally, we have been blessed with capable, compassionate care from Northwest Arkansas Pediatric Clinic, Mercy Health, & home health caregivers. The impact each of you made on Amelia s life was extraordinary. A special Thank you to Pamela Joan Fair Chrisco, for a lifetime of loving care. Amelia loved the Lord, her Church, family & friends. Her journey continues in the arms of the Lord. A celebration of Amelia s life will be held Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 901 N.E. J Street, Bentonville, AR. To honor Amelia, donations may be made to Arkansas Children s Hospital or Rogers Humane Society.
