Andrew was a friend all the way back to high school. He was a grade junior when I was a senior but we geeked out over several topics. He had a gifted golden voice with a personality that matched. I lost track of him over the last 10 years but I think it’s wonderful the amount of lives he touched and reading the wonderful tributes to him.
Gods speed Droid
Oh, Droid, no. My heartfelt condolences to his family and his "framily". He was such a kind soul.
My condolences to his family & friends. R.I.P. Droid.
I met Andrew when he worked for KKEG. I was in highschool and I learned...wow, I can really be the 9th caller. I was avid for listening, calling in requests, and being the 9th caller for winning on air. Ive known Andrew for a very long time. We went to a handful of concerts together. He was the most gentle giant in the world. We lost contact and the last time I went and seen him I found him in the hospital. He always was smiling and helping make good memories. Ill never forget you Andrew. RIP my friend. The world is a little dimmer without your shining light.
I met Droid when I came to NWA for a radio job. He knew his stuff professionally and knew NWA intimately. He was a strong champion for everything he believed in and was always kind and accommodating, even when working under the crazy pressures that only someone in the business can understand. A fixture in NWA, in the industry and a fixture in my core memories of coming here, Droid will be missed greatly and remembered dearly.
