Just wanted to let you all know how much I am going to miss seeing your dad at the 0900 mass and giving him hugs and kisses. He was a second father to me and someone I would seek out if I needed advice. He had great patience and understanding all the years we played Shanghi. God Bless all of you!
Dear Family,
Andy lived an amazing life, filled with the joy that he gave to all of us. You could be in the midst of a difficult time and Andy would erase it right away with his broad smile, firm handshake and an immediate offer to help – in any way.
I got to know Andy through working with him on the Journalism Alumni Society as well as the full Alumni Association. He taught me so much about service and he showed limitless generosity. Every time I thought to myself "that's enough," Andy came along, did more and carried me with him.
We all were saddened deeply when Andy lost Shirley and we sought to rally to his side. But it was Andy who comforted us.
What an amazing man. What an amazing life.
We'll miss him so much. We'll cherish our memories of them both.
Sincerely,
Gerald Jordan
My husband and I are so very grateful to Andy for guiding us through our annulment processes so we could be married in the Catholic Church. We will always have a special place in our hearts for this loving and wise man. Thank you, Andy, and may God bless your family ❤️
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
