Andy Baugus Jr.'s Obituary
Andy Baugus Jr., 71, of Fayetteville AR, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born May 16, 1951, in Fayetteville AR, to Chester A. Baugus and Wanda Landelius Brannan.
Andy was a master craftsman. After retiring, he took up carving and made many beautiful pieces for family and friends. He is the owner of 2ndlifewood, which allowed him to use his skill and craftmanship but also mentor future craftsmen. You can find his beautiful handiwork all over the county.
He is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Jane Baugus; one sister Patty Henry; and one stepbrother Mike McKimmey.
Andy leaves behind his mother Wanda (Bob) Brannan of Boulder CO, his brother Leroy (Susi) Baugus of Searcy, AR; two sisters Lois (Stephen) Scott of Boulder CO, and Bobbett Fisher of Boulder CO; two stepbrothers Vernon McKimmey, of Lubac ME, and Marty McKimmey of Albany GA; his stepsister Susan (Jim) Ramey of Fayetteville AR, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
On behalf of the family, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to a few of Andy’s lifelong friends for not only their friendship with Andy but their individual and unique contribution to his life and the man we all knew and loved. No Services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel of Fayetteville.
