Anita Marie Miner's Obituary
Our beloved mother, Anita Marie Miner, lifelong resident of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 90 years old. She was born on September 13, 1934, in Washington D.C. to Milton Hampton and Marion Louise (Allen) Feagans. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Newton Arthur Miner, son Newton Arthur Miner, Jr., son William Cole, Jr., and grandchild William Cole, III.
Anita was a real go getter. She worked many years as a realtor, then began working as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser. She was a doll collector and was the President of the Now and Then Doll Club. She was a lifelong crafter, and a member of the Women’s Club of Fredericksburg. Her presence made everyone’s life better, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be laid to rest with her husband Newton at Quantico National Cemetery at a later time.
Anita is survived by her daughters Martha Day of Annapolis, Maryland and Carol Smith of Woodbridge, Virginia; sons Brian Miner of Fredericksburg, Virginia, John Miner of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Phillip Miner of Lincoln, Arkansas; grandchildren Derek Bauckman (Amber), Jacob Bauckman (Becky), Joel Smith, Kelsey Clausman, and Christopher Clausman; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other friends, family members, and loved ones.
Cremation was under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
