Ann Parette's Obituary
Edith (Ann) Parette, age 87, a life resident of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at her residence in Fayetteville, lovingly surrounded by her children. Ann was born March 15,1937 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Grover and Edith Wages.
She was preceded in death, by the love of her life, Harold Van Parette in 2016, after 57 years of marriage and was youngest of her 8 siblings Leona, Pauline, Betty, Margaret, James (Speck), Jack, Bill and Bob.
She is survived by four sons, Randy Parette and his wife Angela of West Fork, Steve Parette Chand his wife Cindy of Fayetteville, Jeffrey Parette and his wife Ashley of Fayetteville and Jerry Jackson of Goshen; a daughter Cindy Short and her husband Geoffrey of North Ridgeville Ohio; five grandchildren Brandon Morris and his wife Kim of Springdale, Andrew Morris and his wife Dana of Prairie Grove, Renae West and her husband Parker of Elkins, Jeffrey Parette and Annsley Parette; five great-grandchildren Jayden Morris, Addison Morris, Michael Morris, Maverick Morris and Sophie West.
Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sibling, cousin and dear friend. Ann immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on so many people. She was a joyful presence with her colorful clothes and bubbly personality. Ann graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1955. She was an icon in our community as an Avon Representative, where she was awarded the highest achievements, honors and prestigious recognitions for her business, but it was always about her customers, many who became her closest and dearest friends. She loved her friends and family and filled her home with warmth and kindness. Everyone was welcomed at her home and table, and she will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Moore’s Chapel, 206 West Center, downtown Fayetteville, AR, on November 23, 2024 at 11:00 am.
