Ellyn,We are thinking of you and family with the loss of your Mom. I know you have many happy memories of and with both your Mom & Dad that will help you through this difficult time and in the future. Just knowing they are together again is a peaceful blessing.
Dear Ellyn and John, Your mother was such a precious soul. Her gentle spirit and sense of humor were evident, even in her hard times. I'm grateful for having known her and you all, and I'm grateful that she is at rest in the Lord. My prayers stay with you. From Martha Lankford's daughter at Culpepper Place.
I got acquainted with Ann at Culpepper Place, where my parents (Charles and Rosemary) are also residents. She was quite a lady, drilling me on the spelling of her last name, which she was very proud of. I will probably remember how to spell SCH-LEI-FFARTH (the dashes are where she would pause during the teaching session) for the rest of my life. I also got to hear her play the piano a couple of months ago... amazing. My sincerest condolences to the family.
We miss Ann every time we pass her house. She was a special lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Ellyn, Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. I remember your Dad and Mom from Church in Brookfield. I think I went to Jr-Sr Prom with you or your sister in 1966.
Ellyn, you have my love at this very special time. Memories are what sustain us, and your Mother lived a long AND giving life.
