Ann Marie Shortridge's Obituary
Ann Marie Shortridge passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at 63 years of age. She was born on February 15, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Charles and June (Hall) Shortridge.
Ann graduated from Westchester High School in Houston, Texas, in 1972. She then received her undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University on May 2, 1987. She expanded her education to also include a master’s degree in liberal arts from the University of St. Thomas, where she graduated on May 11, 1990, followed by a doctorate in education from the University of Houston on May 12, 2001.
Ann was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith, receiving the Lord as a child. She is survived by her parents, Charles and June Shortridge of Houston, Texas; her brother, Lee Shortridge and wife Heidi Lewis of Wapiti, Wyoming; her sister, Kathryn Mauromoustakos and husband Andy of Fayetteville; nieces, Eleni and Anna of Fayetteville; her uncle, Douglas Shortridge of Battle Creek, Michigan; and other extended family.
A Memorial Service was held on May 21, 2019, at the mausoleum chapel at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
