Anna E. 'Peggy' Laws' Obituary
Mrs. Anna E. (Peggy) Laws, 97 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born December 9, 1910 in Woodward, OK to Charles T. Simmons and Lucy May (Baldwin) Simmons.
She was a homemaker and a member of The Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville for 20years. She lived her Christian testimony through years of volunteer service and church activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Henry Laws.
She is survived by two daughters; Martha Smith and husband Wesley of Fayetteville, AR, Kathy Wright and husband Michael of Amarillo, TX, five grandchildren; Thomas Smith and wife Lori, Donna Culpepper and husband Steve, Steven Wright and wife Kerin, Mark Wright and wife Shonda, MaryAnn McGinnis and husband Paul, 12 great grandchildren; Chris Needham, Stephen Needham, Zachery Smith, Kathleen Smith, Samantha Wright, Morgan Wright, Mason Wright, Taylor Wright, Madison Wright, Lacy Wright, Andrew McGinnis, and Jennica McGinnis, and many family members from her husband side.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Craig Russell and Pastor Michael Wright officiating. Private burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens if Fayetteville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Butterfield Trail Village or to Sequoyah United Methodist Church
