Anna Frances McKinnon's Obituary
Anna Frances McKinnon, age 85, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Frances was born December 28, 1937, in Prescott, Arkansas to Felton Ray and Millie Inez (Renfro) Wooley. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of sixty-one years, Thomas Roy McKinnon.
She is survived by her two daughters; Laura Harrison and husband Rick of Russellville, Lisa Wilson and husband Craig also of Russellville, her son, Alex McKinnon of Lowell, two grandchildren; Sarah Garlow and husband Tim and Jennifer Loop and husband Kory, and six great-grandchildren; Anna, Ellen, and Harrison Garlow, and Ryder, Harper, and Karsyn Loop.
Frances was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. She worked for Fayetteville Public Schools as an administrative assistant at several locations, ending her many years of service in the office of the Superintendent.
The things she loved most in life were her husband Tom, her family, her dog Sadie, the Razorbacks and nature. She collected rocks everywhere she went. She loved watching the birds, the clouds and sunsets. She saw such beauty in places many of us overlook. She had a servant's heart and was happiest while doing things for others.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:00 am in the chapel at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers she asked that donations be made to the Fayetteville Humane Society.
