Anna Marie Watson Pratt's Obituary
Anna Marie Watson Pratt, age 87, of Arlington, Tennessee died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Springdale. She was born November 24, 1931 in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of Reinhold and Marie Dirks Schrag. She was preceded in death by first husband of 41 years, Walter Watson, a sister, Dee Schrag and four brothers, Abe, Dan, David and William Schrag.
As a child, Anna Marie placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Her relationship with Jesus and faith in Him shaped the rest of her life- from education to mission work to marriage, family, and friendships.
She was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Hesston Bible School in 1949 and Grace Bible Institute in 1953 completing a missionary course. She served as a missionary with Peru Child Evangelism Fellowship and Flagstaff Mission to the Navajos until 1970.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Ray Pratt; a daughter, Joanna Watson Zarriello and her husband Brian of Chicago, Illinois; two step-daughters, Pam Pratt Anderson and her husband Larry of Arlington, Tennessee and Sandy Pratt Yates and her husband Mike of Lowell, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Moore’s Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the chapel. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
