Birth date: Aug 25, 1933 Death date: Jul 14, 2021
Our beloved mother, Anne Dougan Hanna-Newell, went to her heavenly home on July 14, 2021, after a sudden decline due to a chronic lung disease that hadn’t slowed her down a bit until last Tuesday. She died peacefully at Willard Wa Read Obituary
No one could light up your world any better than this lady with that wonderful smile. Anne and I did many Washington School carnivals together. I loved that “pocket witch” and will miss her. But I have no doubt where that beautiful soul is today and she is regaling our Lord.🥰
I know you’ll be comforted by the warmest memories of Anne’s beautiful soul, and the knowledge you haven’t “lost” her... you know EXACTLY where she is!
Grace and Peace from the family of Jim and Mary Margaret Hall
Everyone loved Anne. I am blessed for having known her, as you all are. An additional blessing for me is that she invited me into Red Hat Society with her. As we grieve we rejoice for her as she goes to the Lord.

Anne was wonderful. She was always so pleased to see you and greet you with a big smile and a hug. If you were having a bad day when she arrived, it was better when she left you. A bright ray of sunshine followed her wherever she went. She was an eager Christian and was a dear friend as well. She was one of the most positive people we ever met. We will miss her swooping in spreading God's word and happiness.
Hearing the devastating news that Ms Anne had passed away, was a blow to my heart. I will never be able to fully express the impact she had in my life! So many memories! Every time I was around her, she always had an encouraging word; knowing what I needed to hear, even though there were times I didn't like what was being said. Her smile and hugs left an imprint in my heart. If I wasn't smiling before meeting up with her and her family, I was, on my way out the door!
Love and prayers go out to the entire Hanna Family!!
