Arleta Carson, 87 of Fayetteville died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born December 10, 1927 in Chelsea, OK the daughter of Sherdan Edison and Mary P. Crawford Prather.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Johnny Carson of the home; daughter, Sandra Carson of Fayetteville; son, John Alan Carson of Fayetteville; 2 granddaughters, Crystal Hunt Massey (Matthew) of New York, New York and Shawna Jon Carson “King” of Fayetteville; 1 great-granddaughter, Kennedy King of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM Thursday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:00PM, Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairview Memorials Gardens Cemetery.
