Arlie Easley's Obituary
Arlie Easley, 92 of Elkins, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Fayetteville. She was born May 1, 1923 in Japton, Arkansas the daughter of James H. Sisemore and Lee Parker Sisemore.
After her mother’s death, she was raised by Pleas and Sarah Sisemore Teague. She graduated from Huntsville State Vocational School in 1943 where she received her teaching certificate and taught one term at Rockhouse in Madison County.
She married George Easley on January 13, 1944. He would precede her in death in 1998. She was a faithful member of the Elkins Church of Christ. She loved to quilt and cook for her family.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Melvin, Alvin, Orville, and Arlis Sisemore, Teb, and Thurman Teague and sister, Ina Woolsey
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Easley of Fayetteville, Carolyn (Jerry) Tuck of Fayetteville, Janet (James) Johnson of Elkins, AR; grandchildren, Barbara (Craig) Skelton Pierce of Elkins, Jason (Sherry) Tuck of Springdale, Clinton Tuck of Fayetteville, Mike (Angela) Johnson of Elkins; Great-Grandchildren, Zachary Partain, Tyler Tuck, Jaiden Tuck, Colton Tuck, Andrew Johnson and sister-in-laws, Mildred Sisemore, and Norene Teague and special caregivers, Angela Johnson and Phyllis Boyd. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Moores Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00PM, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Elkins Church of Christ with Mr. Bobby Dockery officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family requests that memorials in her name go to Southern Christian Home, Willard Walker Hospice Home or the Elkins Fire Department.
