Kind and gentle soul. ❤️
I just read the newswire story about Dr. Brown's passing. I just wanted to send my condolences. Dr. Brown was a kind gentlemen and I enjoyed his visits to the office when I worked at Biological Sciences a few years back. Prayers for your family.
Kris and family,
Art was a tremendous influence for good in our lives and so many others. We are so thankful we were privileged to know him. We will miss him and love him always.

Mrs. Brown, I was sorry to hear of your husband's passing. You were one of my favorite teachers. Please know that you and your kids are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dr. Brown taught me all about streams and how to understand and love them. He was a patient and encouraging teacher who made me feel so smart. He inspired me to do my best, not for him so much as for all those little critters that live in the streams that he studied and that we were trying to protect through our work. I will always remember him and be grateful that he was my teacher and committee member and mentor. Sending prayers to the family and saying a special prayer for him. I am so thankful for having known Dr. Brown. He was a great teacher and Christian example on the University of Arkansas campus. I’ll never forget all the great times and laughs we had when I was a student at the U of AR. He was a tough teacher with high expectations and I really appreciate him for that experience!
My condolences to Kris and his family.
