Arvil 'Roy' Drake's Obituary
Arvil "Roy" Drake, 83, of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born August 2, 1923 in Fayetteville, Arkansas the son of Thomas and Rena Daniels Drake. He was retired from the Carpenters Union in California; he was Mayor of Farmington Arkansas for twelve years and a member of the Masonic Lodge Anaheim Lodge No. 207 in Anaheim, California.
He is survived by one daughter; Teresa Baber of Bentonville, Arkansas, one son; Fred Drake of Fullerton, California, two sisters; Maxine Perkins of Washington State, Patsy Davis of Chattanooga, TN, one brother; Donnie Drake of North Carolina, six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral home with Rev. Homer Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Baptist Ford Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Tuesday December 5, 2006; the family will be present during this time.
