Audrey Rozell's Obituary
Audrey Rozell, 96 of Rogers, AR passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, in his home surrounded by family. He was born May 10, 1927, in Cash, TX to Walcy Ward Rozell and Mattie Francis (Matthews) Rozell.
He was the former owner and operator of Rozell Appliance Service for 20 years in Fayetteville, AR. His motto was, “if it was made, it could be repaired.” He loved people and always sought to make them smile. He always said, “it’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.” He enjoyed family, fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rogers. He loved the Lord and served as an ordained elder, deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and teacher for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Rozell.
He is survived by his son Phillip Rozell and his wife Dana of West Fork, AR, stepson Jeffrey Griffin and wife Mary of Nolensville, TN, stepdaughter Jeannine Brazzeal and husband Jeff of Bentonville, AR. Grandchildren, Roger Rozell and wife Claudia, Stephanie Pennington and husband Dustin, Eli Holland and wife Liz, Aftin Blake, Arden Baxter and husband Bill, and Josh Griffin. Additional survivors include numerous great grandchildren and special friends, Bob, and Sharon Lee.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Friday, August 25th with a service beginning at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers with Dr. Valarie Bell officiating. A private entombment will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church 1901 S. 26th Street Rogers, AR 72756.
