Avis 'Boots' Ball's Obituary
Avis “Boots” Ball, 90 of Farmington died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born September 9, 1923 in Pettigrew, Arkansas the daughter of David Samuel McAdoo and Inda Parlee Evan McAdoo.
She graduated from Bemidji High School in Bemidji Minnesota. She was an ordained minister of the gospel and worked with her husband in the ministry.
She attended Unity Covenant Church in West Fork, and was preceded in the death by her husband, Norman Ball in 2001.
Survivors include 4 daughters; Sharon Butterfly of Farmington, Gwen Morris of Rogers, Trudy Aaserude of West Fork, Theresa Becker of Denton, TX; sister, Phyllis “Jeri” Stephens of Omak, WA; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many great friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Friday at the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with burial to follow in Zinnamon Cemetery in West Fork.
