Barbara Beal's Obituary
Barbara E. Beal, 77 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in Fayetteville. She was born January 10, 1934 in Norwich, CT to James and Lena Ruth (Dion) Jones.
Barbara was most proud of two things in her life. First and most important was her family. The second was her career as Bill Clinton’s personal assistant/legal secretary. She was a graduate of The University of Arkansas, and a member of the Legal Secretary Association of Arkansas.
She is survived by one brother; Robert Jones and his wife Nancy of Norwich, CT, daughter, Shirley McKeever of Buttonwillow, CA, son, Jim Kerns and his wife Pat of Holtville, CA, daughter, Linda Greer and her husband Aubrey, Sr. of Stonewall, LA, daughter, Barbara Goodman and her husband Butch Coger of Fayetteville, AR, son, Robert Kerns and his former wife Melissa Dalziel of Springdale, AR, daughter, Debra Thomas and her husband Harley of Tulsa, OK, daughter Lisa Taylor and her husband Jerry of El Dorado Springs, MO, and daughter Paula Estridge, of Mabelvale, AR, twenty grandchildren, and numerous great, and great- great grandchildren. She also had four “extra” daughters that held a special place in her heart, Tracey, Coni, Caroline, and Nelda.
Private services will be held.
