Barbara Ann Fritts' Obituary
Barbara Ann Fritts, age 83, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Katherine’s Place in Fayetteville. She was born on February 1, 1937, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Albert and Lela (Perdue) Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Charlie Fritts; three brothers; and four sisters.
Barbara was a homemaker and spent much of her time babysitting for many local children. She was a fantastic cook and was known for her brown beans, potatoes, and cornbread dinner. To this day no one has been able to cook her special dinner or make better sun tea than she did. She also loved her Coca-Cola bears.
She is survived by her daughter, Lela Wagnon and partner Odis Morrow of Fayetteville; her son, Charles Fritts of Fayetteville; her two brothers, Calvin and Carl Davis, both of Fayetteville; her grandson, Steven Michael Wagnon and fiancé Amber Dawn Jameson; one great-grandson, Samuel Colt Wagnon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral service will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Interment will take place at Stearns Cemetery in Fayetteville.
