Barbara L. "Bobbie" Karnes' Obituary
Barbara L. “Bobbie” Karnes, age 90, of Greenland, Arkansas passed away Thursday February 9, 2023 in Fayetteville. She was born November 20, 1932 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Floyd and Ida (Yount) Bond. She was a member of First Baptist of Greenland and attended Ridgeview Baptist in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Bond and Pete Bond.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Dave Karnes; one daughter, Connie Kerr and her husband Steve of Arlington, Texas; granddaughter, Laura Bateman and her husband Tim of Frisco, Texas; three great grandchildren, Leah, Hannah and Noah.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday February 16, 2023 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Friday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
