Biography
Barbara Nagle Leer, age 58, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born May 9, 1953, daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Nagle. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but always called Charlotte, North Carolina home. She was a member of Chapter DG of P.E.O. International, the Fort Smith Junior League, and a longtime choir member of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her wit, charm, and great humor will be missed by dear family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Nagle.
She is survived by her husband Peter Leer, one son, Jonathan Leer and his wife Jenna, of Austin, Texas, one daughter, Sarah Leer of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and a brother, Alan Nagle of St. Louis, Missouri.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith with Rev. Leslie Roper officiating.
