Thank you, Barbara, for all the funny moments the "Geezer Squad" provided in the LRPD Property Room. I have many fond memories of you and our time together. "Nothing is lost. We just haven't found it yet" was one of our inside jokes that comes to mind. Barbara never panicked and it was such a pleasure to work with someone who provided a gentle calm in what can seem sometimes like an endless storm at work. You provided us with so much, more than you could ever know, Barbara, and for that, so many of us you helped along the way will always be grateful. May you rest in peace now and may your family find comfort in all of their warmest memories of you.

I've known Barbara Lucas for 37 years. She has been an important part of mine and my children's lives. She has done so many wonderful things for me and I have wonderful memories of her to cherish. I will miss her and her famous Chocolate Pies. May you Rest In Peace Nanny.
