Barbara Perrin's Obituary
Barbara Perrin, age 86, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, in Bella Vista, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 17, 1935, in Pocasset, Oklahoma to the late Clarence and Helen (Phares) Hunter. She is preceded in death by her husband Armon Perrin, and brothers, Leslie, Maurice Hunter, and Dwight Hunter, and daughter-in-law Kristi Perrin.
Barbara had natural artistic talent. She expressed herself through many art mediums throughout the years including floral arrangements and oil paintings. She perfected her skills as an oil painter over 25 years and went on to win multiple awards. Before moving to Northwest Arkansas, she was an active member of the Kinney Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. Barbara and her children shared a love for antiquing, and she even had a few flea market booths. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed landscaping and gardening.
Barbara is survived by her son; Doug Perrin and his wife Kathy Pruitt of Centerton, daughter; Dianne Thomasson of Weatherford, Texas, grandchildren; Mallory Thomasson, Jay Thomasson and his wife Kelly, Mike Perrin and his wife Constance, Boedy Perrin, Lance Perrin, and his wife Courtney, Jennifer Bollinger, Stephanie Riley, Chris Haughn, 13 great-grandchildren, brother; C.V. Hunter and his wife O’Dean, and sister-in-law LaRue Hunter, and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers.
