Barbara Joyce Peterson's Obituary
Barbara Joyce Peterson, age 70, of Rogers, AR, went to be with her dear savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 4, 2026. She was born on October 15, 1955, in Denver, Colorado to Chester and Kathryn J. (Griswald) Waitz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepdad, Bob Day.
Barbara is survived by husband, Dennis Peterson; her 8 children, Tommy Peterson (Helen), Noelle Putthoff (Zach), Matthew Peterson, Gregory Peterson (Michelle), Elianna Corral, Denise Anshutz, Hope Peterson, Dezirae Payne (Trent); sisters, Jere Littlejohn and Sue Iten; stepsiblings, Marion Stafford, Cindy Moffitt, and Brian Day; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
Her Memorial Service will be at Anchor Bible Church in the Rogers Christian Church main building, 2421 W. Oak St. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11am. Lunch to follow. Parking is located in the back.
