Barbara T. (Schwartz) McCord's Obituary
Barbara Thrailkill McCord, of Fayetteville Arkansas (formally of Wilkesboro, North Carolina), passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Barbara was born February 20, 1938, in Columbia, South Carolina to Robert Wells Thrailkill and Odell Mead Thrailkill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harry Stephen Schwartz Sr.; and her second husband, Arthur Stevenson McCord.
She is survived by her son, Harry Stephen Schwartz Jr. (Gina) of Watkinsville, Georgia; daughter, Alison Schwartz Kimbrough (William) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one grandson, Harry Stephen Schwartz III of Athens, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on January 7, 2026, at Scenic Memorial Gardens in Moravian Falls, North Carolina.
