Barbara M Ward's Obituary
Barbara M. Ward, 95, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Laclede Groves Senior Living in Webster Groves, Missouri, surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 25, 1928 in Rockport, Kentucky to Earl D. and Myrna Maple. Barbara married Charles W. Ward on October 10, 1947 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. They were active members of Zion’s Rest Primitive Baptist church in Bentonville. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed gardening and fishing with Charles. They had a common love of nature and the outdoors, and of each other. She is preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, and is survived by sons Alan D. Ward and wife Karen of Fraser, Michigan; Gary R. Ward and wife Gloria of St. Louis, Missouri; and daughter, Pamela A. Weber and husband William of St. George, Utah; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. A service will be held at Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville on December 2, 2024 at 11:30, with visitation beginning at 10:30. Interment will immediately follow at the National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Zion’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church, 9621 Old Bonhomme Road, Olivette, MO 63132.
