Bernice A. (Silvis) Allen, 85 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 in Springdale, AR. She was born July 3, 1926 in Pettigrew, AR to Charles A. Silvis and Rebecca (Williams) Silvis.
She was a former employee of Pacific Telephone & Telegraph, Southwestern Bell, and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband Fred A. Allen, one daughter; Ann Holbrook and her husband Martin of Fayetteville
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Smith officiating. Private burial will be held at Stucky Cemetery in Johnson, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifeSource International 600 South School Avenue Fayetteville, AR 72701.
