Bertha Mae Jones' Obituary
Bertha Marie Jones, 74 of Lowell AR. passed away Sunday August 14th 2011 in Springdale AR. Mrs. Jones was born on January 30th 1937 to Virgil and Iva Harrison Birchfield. In November of 1956 she was united in marriage with Carl Jones. He preceded her in death on March 14th 2007.
Bertha was an avid fisherman and quilter and loved to camp. Spending time with her family was very important. Bertha loved to spend time in her garden and enjoyed flowers.
Bertha is survived by her mother, two daughters Sharon Jones and husband Wayne Wagnon of Fayetteville, Carlene Vanover and husband Johnny of Sonora, AR. Three sisters Jane Ann Rosebeary of Farmington, AR., Fay Birchfield and Joyce Bridges of Bedford, IN. two brothers Dean Birchfield and Charlie Birchfield of Bidville, AR. Mrs. Jones is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Bertha is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Bertha was preceded in Death by her father her husband Carl, one sister Ruth Swan and one brother Sam Birchfield.
There will be no visitation
Graveside services will conducted at twelve noon on Wednesday August 17th at the Bidville cemetery.
