Bessie Evelyn Jennings' Obituary
Bessie Evelyn Jennings, 87, of Springdale passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born October 28, 1926 in Sturgis, Kentucky the daughter of Houston and Cora Ramey Wilson.
Bessie attended the House of God Church in Rogers and worked in Food Service at the University of Arkansas Bough Commons for 35 + years and for Washington Regional Hospital for 10 years where she received, “Employee of the Year” at the age of 81 years. At Washington Regional Hospital she was known by her co-workers as “Mom”.
Bessie was preceded in death by her 2~sons, Donnie K. and David C. Jennings.
Survivors include her 2~sons, Cordis Johnson and wife, Mary of Springdale and Dyke Jennings and wife, Donna of Fayetteville; 13, grandchildren, 27, great-grandchildren and 6, great-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Nelson~Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Pastor Lisa Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 57 PM Monday, September 29, 2014 at NelsonBerna Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice.
