BESSIE HAYS
Bessie Hays, 96, of Springdale, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Springdale.
She was born August 23, 1914 in Thurber, Texas, the daughter of Vaclav and Rosie Vecera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Hays.
She was retired employee of the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville and a Methodist.
She is survived by a son, David Mitchell of Elm Springs; a step-daughter, Natalie Dial of Cleveland, OK; two sisters, Frances Hamilton of Alhambra, CA and Agnes Wilson of Buhl, ID; at least eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, at Moore’s Chapel and interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5:00 -7:00 Tuesday at Moore’s Chapel.
