Dear Rollin (Junior), John and I are sorry that you have lost Bette. We were sorry when you lost your mother, Enid. They were a part of my life between 1944 and 1947. And I remember how they both adored you.
The last time we saw you, Junior, was when you picked up Enid at the Jim and Betty Croxdale fiftieth wedding celebration -- many summers ago. The years fly by so quickly.
Bette was only five months younger than me. In my memories, she will be forever young -- with attractive Enid nearby.
