Miss Betty I will miss you greatly. You will always be in my heart.
Betty was such a great lady. She was very much alive at 91 and was even more active than most fifty year olds with both legs.
She was as sharp as a nail and quick as a bee.
Betty was extremely generous to charities and she was very strong in her Catholic faith.
Betty was an excellent cook and she could make the finest fudge that you had ever had.
And when you went to her house, she would not let you leave with out a few pounds of fudge and a few wonderful homemade coffee cakes for the whole family. I still have a cake in the freezer and I think that I will hold on to that one forever.
Betty was a very generous and giving individual who always made time for everyone.
She gave so much to the community and did a lot for a lot of people. She even feed the ducks like clockwork at the Fairview Memorial Gardens for years. She even took care of a stray cat that she named Rusty, because she could not allow an animal, or anyone, to go hungry.
She was well known all over Fayetteville, Springdale, and Rogers and loved by everyone that was lucky enough to of gotten to know or meet her.
She will be missed by everyone at the local Wal-Marts, fire departments, and police departments that she would take fudge to every Christmas.
She would say that it was very important for a good community to take care of the police officers and firemen as they take care of all of us.
She would also make the best strawberry pies that you had ever had as well.
She also taught me how to make fudge, and to make it her way, which taste so much better than any other fudge out their.
I will miss her greatly, but I will always have the wonderful memories of her smiling face with me and the community was blessed to of had her as a member.
Jody was the nickname she picked for me. She was a very delightful person, funny and interesting. She will be mised.
I always enjoyed Mrs. Betty's visits. I will never forget her.
BETTY WAS SUCH A THOUGHTFUL AND CARING PERSON. SHE MADE US SO MANY DELICIOUS GOODIES EACH YEAR AT CHRISTMAS. I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO HER COMING TO THE POST OFFICE. SOMETIMES SHE CAME INSIDE THE POST OFFICE AND OTHER TIMES SHE WOULD ASK SOMEONE PASSING BY HER CAR TO ASK US TO BRING HER MAIL OUT TO HER. I HAD A LOT OF MEMORABLE CONVERSATIONS WITH HER. SHE WAS SUCH A DEAR PERSON AND WILL DEFINITELY BE MISSED.
