I just found this,and am so saddened by her passing. She was such a sweet lady and I loved working with her at IGA. I am sure she and LaVerne are bossing them all around in heaven.

Betty was a wonderful woman. She knew everyone that shopped at Southgate IGA. Always such a kind loving person. So proud to say I knew her.So many young people started as carry out boys and she was a great role model. She was proud when she saw them grow into successful, productive citizens. I think she played a part as a shining example. Rest in Peace sweet lady. Prayers for all the family.
