BETTY JO LACKEY
Betty Jo Lackey, 83, of Elkins, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 17, 1928 in Delaney, Arkansas, the daughter of Marvin and Ruby Sanders Hollingsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lackey, a son, Donny Lackey, a daughter, Connie Barnes and two granddaughters, Tina Barnes and Tabitha Morgan.
She was a retired employee of the Campbell Soup Company.
She is survived by three sons, Darrell Lackey and his wife Peggy, Tim Lackey and Jim Lackey, both of Elkins; five daughters, Judy Kloster of Fayetteville, Cathy Shepley of Fayetteville, Shirley Nobles and her husband Rick of Huntsville, Debbie Delaporte and her husband Arthur of Alpena and Janie Bruton and her husband Joe of Fayetteville; two brothers, Lee Hollingsworth of Hindsville and Clyde Hollingsworth of Fayetteville and a sister, Suzie Miller of Springdale; twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4 at Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church in Elkins, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
Burial will be in Patrick Cemetery
