Betty Jo Wages, 77 of Fayetteville died Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Fayetteville. She was born April 14, 1937 in Mountainburg, Arkansas the daughter of James A Meadows and Pauline H. Pierce Meadows.
She married Arlis Wages on July 19, 1952 in Fayetteville, AR. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple in Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Arlis Wages of the home; 2 daughters, Linda (Gaylon) Mitchell of Farmington, Carla (James) Brewster of Granby, MO; Brothers, Kenneth (Barbara) Meadows of St. Louis, MO, Lonnie (Carolyn) Meadows of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren, Sherry Garrison and Misty Mitchell of Farmington, AR, Sam and JJ Brewster of Granby, MO and 3 great-grandchildren, Abi Roberts, Hunter and Kaylee Jo Brewster. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM, Thursday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Friday at the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Patrick Cemetery.
