Betty Jane Knox's Obituary
Betty Jane Knox, age 80, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home on October 17, 2021. She was born on April 16, 1941, in Rogers, Arkansas to Rex Putman and Ada (Haynes) Putman. Betty graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1959. She married Jack Knox on November 22, 1961, in Pea Ridge. Over their 52 years of marriage, they formed a loving family and created a home and farm. Betty worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a devout member of Baldwin Baptist Church and former member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Knox; her parents; and sister, Joann Boggs.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Knox, and wife Alison of Fayetteville; grandson, William Knox of Fayetteville; sister, Joyce McCann, and husband Max of Lowell, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery in LaRue, Arkansas.
