Betty Jean Lewis' Obituary
Betty Jean Lewis, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully Monday, February 13, 2023, at 63 years young. She was born on November 18, 1959, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Marvin Earl and Mary Jane Lewis. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Owen Bemrose and her parents Marvin Earl and Mary Jane Lewis.
She was the proud mother of Brandy Lacole Mazzanti, Randi Jo Scott, Amelia Christine Janssen, and Andrew Lewis Adams; and grandmother of Maddox Joseph Myers, Whitlee Nevaeh Adams, Mason Walker French, and Mila Elizabeth Mae Janssen; and loving partner of Raymond Wesley Day.
Most of all she loved her family, treasuring every moment she could with them. Her role as Granny B was her most cherished.
Betty's hands were rarely still. She enjoyed cheering for the Razorbacks and gardening.
Betty worked at the University of Arkansas for many years in various roles. She used her passion for helping others, in the Fayetteville School District as an interpreter for the deaf.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held at her home, 205 Ranchwood Dr. Springdale on Saturday, February 18th 2-4.
